    1. Tinted/reflective material may be used. No Owner shall install or maintain aluminum foil on any windows or glass doors. Boards may not be placed over windows unless (temporarily) for hurricane protection. Windows and window treatments must be maintained in good condition. No Owner shall install nor allow to be installed any window mounted or through the wall mounted air conditioning unit

    I don't believe you can place any additional restrictions on homeowners that are not in the original Deed Restrictions . If you believe you can, by what means?

    Hello Gerald, The deed restrictions can be updated and changed by a vote or the homeowners. The vote needed to update the deed restrictions is 60% of the home owners.

    We don't use foil, however at certain times of the year we do use an interior silver reflective window shade on one small window. Our concern is would this be allowed?
