No company signage on vehicle - this I disagree with. There are many small business owners that reside in Tamaron, and need to have their business signs on their vehicles. This does not take away from the beauty and cleanliness of tamaron but rather it shows that this community is composed of hard working people that must work for a living to maintain the beautiful tamaron that it is. Homeowners should not be penalized nor judged by providing for their families.

There are times when I have relatives visiting they need to park on the road overnight.

Signs on trucks- How do we honor the resident who works for a company and they give a company car or pickup to drive and that is your mode of transportation? The company as many companies are now doing has wrapped the vehicle with their logo so you can't just remove the sign when you get home to your house. Example: If a person works for Home Depot and a few years later gets a job for a company who gives a company car to drive as a means of transportation. The resident is not able to park the vehicle in the garage due to the garage being used for storage like many Tamaron residents do. Are we saying the resident then needs to leave the Tamaron community because of making a decision to change jobs in order to have a better job? I have heard year round residents make a comment that it feels like Tamaron prefers to only have residents who are 55 and older. It doesn't feel to be young family friendly community today.

A "restriction" on trucks may deprive a family of their only means of transportation. Many -- unmarked -- trucks are used by people for general transport. No overnight parking on street flies in the face of County ordinances. Legally registered vehicles have the right to park on public streets where allowed by the county. (You don't want to own your own streets. That is a very big on going, never ending, expense.) I can't imagine you want to disallow people from visiting others and parking their vehicles safely on the adjacent street. This is an unworkable clause.

By eliminating trucks you may deprive a family of their one vehicle of transportation. Re: parking: Not allowing overnight parking on the street flies in the face of county regulations which do allow for legal parking of registered parking on streets (if you want to make Tamaron streets private, Tamaron will then be responsible for the never-ending expense of street repairs).

When we were drafting this we had not looked in to the legality of the overnight parking on the street standard. In research after this was posted I had done some research on this and I'm thinking it will be it will be removed from the next draft. On the issue of the work trucks it is in the current deed restrictions.

I have a few concerns in regards to 6 C ii & iii We have a family of 4 with 4 vehicles. Our sidewalk goes thru our driveway pretty much in the middle of our driveway...which is an issue if we park two vehicles behind each other (blocks the sidewalk) Than you put no Overnight parking on the street...so please explain to me how we can park to abide by the Standards?? We are not agreeing to these Standards

See a previous post on overnight parking. The issue of parking on the sidewalk is also a state statute 316.1945(1)(a)2. 316.1945 Stopping, standing, or parking prohibited in specified places.— (1) Except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic, or in compliance with law or the directions of a police officer or official traffic control device, no person shall: (a) Stop, stand, or park a vehicle: 1. On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of a street. 2. On a sidewalk.

I disagree with the no street parking stand no sidewalk parking stipulations. If one household has multiple drivers and therefore multiple vehicles, not all properties have ample space to accommodate all vehicles in the garage/driveway without partially blocking the sidewalk. Parking one vehicle in the street sometimes alleviates this issue. I would rather see cars parked in the street in an orderly fashion than see cars parked on the grass somewhere in an attempt to keep the sidewalks and street clear at night.

I would like to see the overnight street parking controlled. Sometimes with cars and trucks parked on both sides of the street, some facing the wrong direction it can be somewhat difficult to pass between them. I think there should be exceptions for temporary guest and the HOA could be advised of such events. In reality this will be an enforcement nightmare for the HOA... As far as a 7,500 lb weight capacity limit you may mean 7,500 lb curb weight??? Some of the currant pickup trucks have weight rated for gross weight capacities far above that. I would like to see clarification please. Cars and trucks without currant registrations are covered under county codes, no need for redundancy.. If there is a complaint, call the county. Regards, Bill Franklin

Unless there is a County ordinance prohibiting parking on the street, this is not feasible. Many families have more cars than space to park them.

I disagree with both the overnight parking and also the not blocking the side walk. Many homes in Tamaron have a small single car driveway (mine included). If 2 cars are parked in our drive way it is impossible to NOT block the sidewalk. Or else the second car would be sticking out into the street. My household has 3 drivers. That means we have no choice but to block the sidewalk and also park a car on the street overnight. How would it be possible to abide by these rules if we have more than one car? The homes in Tamaron are for families. Also, where would visitors park there car overnight? This rule seems unfair and just a bad idea.
